Lenora Ruth Ballard, age 67, of Casper, passed away July 14, 2018 at her home. Lenora was born February 10, 1951 in Crawford, Nebraska to Warren and Levina (Sternhagen) Ballard. She graduated from Lander Valley High School in 1969. She moved to Casper, Wyoming to attend Casper College after graduation. After giving birth to her daughter, Lorie, she settled in Riverton where she remained until 1987. In 1987, Lenora and her daughter moved to Arizona where she became nationally certified inspector for AEROSpace. She was employed as a Quality Control Inspector for more years, before she relocated to Casper, Wyoming in 2000 to be close to her family. She worked as a Customer Service Manager at Walmart before retiring in 2012. Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed reading and cooking.
In addition to her parents, Lenora was also preceded in death by her brother, Don Ballard. She is survived by her Daughter, Lorie Ballard, grandchildren, Lara (Josh) Sienkiewicz, Michael and Kitty Ballard, sister, Maurine and brother, Dennis, great-grandchildren, Caleb and Lylah Sienkiewicz, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
