Lee E. Closson

December 11, 1954 — June 13, 2017

Lee Eldred Closson died suddenly at Wyoming Medical Center and went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2017. He was born in Buffalo, Wyoming, on December 11, 1954. He had been in ill health for many years.

Lee was a man who loved the Lord and was always ready to testify. He was a man of many talents: A cowboy with a reputation for being a top-notch bronc-buster, appliance repairman, long-and-short haul truck driver, and the best biscuit maker in the country! He was known for his jokes and stories of a much-loved cowboy life. He was also known as the "Old Cowboy" and the man who walked around the Brookhurst subdivision using 2 canes, who always had a smile and a wave for everyone he saw.

Lee is survived by his 3 daughters, Mary Beth Holzwarth & her husband Cody, Brenna Closson, and Cati Closson, 5 grandsons & 1 granddaughter, his mother Norma Jenkins Closson, his sisters Vicky Closson, Trudy Cervantes, and Colleen Cornell & her husband Brett, and their families.

A private family service and burial were held at Kaycee Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cody Holzwarth, Brett Cornell, Brandon Middaugh, and Justin Middaugh.
