Mama Smiled
Laura Mae Randol McKinney went to Heaven Sunday, July 21st, 2019. She was born August 2nd, 1957 to Christopher Charles (Chuck) Randol and Carolyn Joy (C.J.) Hoffman in Farmington, New Mexico.
Chances are if you're reading this you know our mama and you know she wasn't an angel but, one thing I'm sure of is, she loves the Lord and she's smiling in Heaven today.
One of mama's favorite verses was Psalm 23. Among some of her other favorites were her grandbabies, quilting, painting, reading, cats, horses, karaoke and her favorite color was purple.
As a child, Laura was moved to and fro, she adapted, became a fly by the seat of your pants kind of gal and she did it with A Smile.
Cortez, Colorado was always home but she quickly grew to love Mannford, Oklahoma, where she lived for 13 years. She's been living in Glenrock, Wyoming for the past year.
Life Has Seasons - Laura was once referred to as the Kool-Aid Mom and later in life was considered The Coolest Mom. Unfortunately though, she never taught any of us to check the mail.
Laura is survived by her daughters, Delby Jo White, Carla Dawn Genoff, Carolyn Lee Skaggs, her wonderful son-in-laws and her son, Christopher Paul Randol. Her kids had kids, who had even more kids, so she has lots of grandkids, especially if you count all the stray kids that love and call her mom.
