Laura (Swanson) Cercy
A celebration of the life of Laura Swanson Cercy will be held Thursday Dec. 14, 2006 1:00pm at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
She died suddenly at her home on Dec. 11, 2006 of natural causes. Laura was born on May 15, 1958 to Albert and Maureen Swanson. She attended St. Anthony's School and graduated in 1977 from Kelly Walsh. She married Hoby Cercy in the spring of 1978.
She worked as a CNA throughout Casper and helped many families with the care of their loved ones. Laura always put others first. If anyone ever needed a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on, she was there. At the time of her death, she was raising her grandson Marcus Keith and caring for her Stepfather Nick Kamboris.
Her beautiful spirit will continue through her daughters Trisha and Lindsay and her 5 grandchildren.
She is also survived by her mother and stepfather Maureen and Nickolas Kamboris of Casper, her sisters Christine Wells of Casper and Valerie Swanson of Las Vegas, NV, her brothers Tim Swanson of Casper and Todd and Gina Swanson of Houston, Texas. Also her stepsisters Candace Lein and Dina and Brian Betts of Casper and Nicki Kamboris of Biloxi, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father.
