Larry Virgil Thomas left Monday June 29, 2009 to go to his Father's house. He was born Feb. 16, 1945, the son of Virgil and Kathryn Pippitt Thomas. He was a firm believer in Jesus and spent his life witnessing to those in need.
In his journey here on earth he spent his time traveling around the Country and gathering people from all walks of life. He himself had many life experiences that allowed him to listen and understand the most complicated situations and without judgment offer a kind word and the shirt off his back. He was the Editor and Publisher of The Christian Biker News, a magazine that brought ministry to those most in need. He also was a huge instrument in a local children's rodeo and sponsored a little league baseball team regardless of his limited resources. He was a large man six foot six with a bigger than life personality. He was humble and kind to women, children, and animals. The last few years he suffered greatly of diabetes and cardiac related issues and passed away as a result of these illnesses. Our Dad loved good food good company and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be forever missed by those who survive him. His son James (Jimmy) Thomas and his wife Shawna and their son Ty. His daughter Jeanne Wagner and her husband Jerry Jay and their children Jacob and Kylea. His sister Pam Elston and her husband Tim and their children Linda, Kelly, Michael, and Andrea. His brother, Doug Thomas and his wife Carla and their children Steven, Eric, Chris, and Dusty. His sister Cindy Strickler and her husband Monty and their children Samantha, Dawn, and Tabatha. He was also survived by his Uncle Paul Pippitt and family.
We would also like to mention the many great nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
