Larry Fletcher Kershner, 77, of Douglas, Wyoming passed away on January 22 in Casper, Wyoming from complications from Parkinson's Disease.
Larry was born in Basin, Wyoming to Gladys G. Kershner (Duffy), and Thedore Kershner on June 21, 1943. He went to school at Greybull, Wyoming. He married Judith Elaine Stinson on January 17, 1992 in Douglas, Wyoming. He worked as a Police Officer for Greybull and Powell, Wyoming for 11 years. He became a truck driver for multiple companies for over 20 years, and was a driving instructor for Swift. Larry was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served as an Army Ranger. He was involved in the American Legion.
Larry is preceded in death by his second wife, Reavon; his parents; his brothers, Ted Kershner and Carl Kershner; his sisters, Doris Kershner and Pat Kershner.
Larry is survived by his wife, Judith Elaine Kershner (Stinson); Carl David Kershner of Columbus, Montana; C. Elizabeth Blackburn of Billings Montana; Fletcher Kershner of Douglas; Dwayne Adels of Douglas; Wynonia Sullivan of Douglas; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a variety of nieces and nephews.
There will be private family services later in the year.
