La Vonne Perkins

April 24, 1941 — October 12, 2016

La Vonne is survived by her loving husband Ron Perkins of 48 years. They were married in Vancouver, Canada on November 16, 1968.

La Vonne was greeted in Heaven by her daughter De Nece Hill and her granddaughter Katelyn Bottomfield in addition to her brother Ronald Whitaker of Las Vegas, and parents Charles and Darlene Whitaker of Casper.
La Vonne is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband, Ronald Perkins, her sister Charlene Garrison of Las Vegas. Children Lori (Rodney) Miller and son Mick; Sutton (Ric) Robeson, daughters Natasha Robeson and Ashlee (CD) Atkinson; Troy (Stephanie) Bottomfield and children, Rachel Campbell, Haley Donoway, Trevor Bottomfield, Ethan, Delaney, and Connor Davis; Royce (Nicole) Perkins, children Riley, Bailey and Ryan; Jennifer (Bill) Hunter, children Brianna and Zach; De Nece Hill's children Leah, Justin, and Abby Juarez in addition to 5 great grandchildren.

La Vonne was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 24, 1941. She graduated from Millard High School in Fillmore, Utah in 1959. La Vonne was a talented mother, who unconditionally loved her family. She loved to cook, read, travel, garden and work side by side with her husband every day. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family. She was kind, loving, honest, brave, strong, selfless and the hardest working woman many will ever know. She helped our friends when they couldn't go to their parents. Others came to our home because our mother welcomed everyone without judgment. Most of her spare time was spent showering her loved ones with affection. Her family was where she received her greatest joy. She gave this earth many gifts, her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren. She was mom to many. Friend to anyone who ever got to know her and home to most everyone her family cared for.

La Vonne was a Mensa Society member, Master Gardner, former Trooper Board member, and former American Cancer Society Board Member. She never missed a Sunday family dinner and to Dad "she was a real hottie!"
