Our beloved Kristy Alison Jones passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan 22, 2023. Kristy was born on October 1, 1947 in Casper, Wyoming to Gene and Elsie Sneesby. Casper was her home and where she took pride in her community and her family. She courageously fought Multiple Sclerosis with a strong will and amazing resilience.
Kristy was a brilliant woman. She was a daughter, a wife, a mom, a friend, and a warrior. She learned to sew and quilt from her mom and continued to hone her skills. She made the most amazing creations for her friends and family. We are all wrapped in the warmth she provided, and surrounded by beautiful arts and crafts she created.
She was a respected professional, starting her career in banking operations and later as a Real Estate Agent. She volunteered in her community at Grant Elementary and delivered for Meals on Wheels. Kristy was active in her local P.E.O. Chapter Y, and loved her sisters and the philanthropy the group works toward. Kristy was an avid bowler for several decades. She enjoyed traveling with family and was fortunate to experience the beauty of many different countries and cultures.
Kristy is survived by her loving husband, Frank Jones; 2 grateful children and their spouses, Melanie and Ken Day of Casper and Brian and Sara Jones of Bothell,WA; 4 amazing grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; her brother, David Sneesby of Casper; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
If you knew Kristy, you knew she abhorred funerals. Please think of her and smoke a cigarette, have a glass of wine, dance with your loved ones, make that visit to a nursing home, and remember that vivacious woman, so full of life, love and laughter.
