Kenneth Lee Reynolds was born on March 7, 1959, in Thermopolis, Wyoming to Philip and Viola Reynolds. He lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, February 2, 2020.
Ken was a kind, loving, and compassionate person, with a silly personality. His easy-going nature and friendly smile ensured that he knew no stranger. While he never joined the labor force, he worked hard in a domestic setting. He took on the responsibility of keeping the house, grocery shopping, and handled meal preparation and cleanup. However, the most exceptional role he played was that of a caregiver. Over the years, he cared for and looked after several different family members including his mother, his niece, and his great nieces.
In 2013, Ken suffered from several debilitating medical issues, including a neurological disorder, which left him wheelchair bound. It was at this time he became a resident at Shepherd of the Valley Healthcare Center. He accepted this somber and dramatic change in his life with grace and a positive attitude. His demeanor never changed. He conquered adversity and built many strong and loving relationships with the staff and caregivers at SOV.
Ken is survived by his mother, Viola Reynolds; and his two siblings, Donald Reynolds and Brenda Jennings. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew: Amanda Sisco, Hannah Pflieger, Crissa Jennings, Brittany Voight, Jeremy Reynolds, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Philip Reynolds.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Church of God of Prophecy at 10:00 a.m.
