Uglow, Kathy, 59, died March 7, 2008 at Shepherd of the Valley following a short illness. Born December 1, 1948 in Casper, Kathy graduated from NCHS in 1967 and attended Casper College. She was married to Jody Bartlett and Earl Uglow both of Casper.
Kathy was associated with NOWCAP services for over 20years, working numerous jobs. She loved the holiday parties and activities and she made many close friends among the staff and clients. She loved her work whether it was working on the cleaning crew of more recently working in the woodshop sanding and painting and she loved the people she worked with She also acquired a new talent in ceramics and was filling her apartment with the treasures she made.
Despite Kathy's struggle with epilepsy throughout her adult life, she remained strong and brave. Kathy touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She rarely had an unkind work to say about anyone, accepted everyone as they are and was blessed with integrity, humility, forgiveness and the ability to find joy in the little things in life. She deserves peace and happiness and to dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Survivors include her mother, Jacqueline Pflugrad of Casper; sister Karen Anderson and her husband Allen of Casper, sister Cherie Barker and her husband Dan of Texas City, TX, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Calvin Thomas Kinder Jr. and her grandparents.
A memorial service will be held Thursday March 13, 2008 in the Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Private cremation was held.
