Kathryn Carlita Rich, age 92, of Casper, Wy, passed away December 17, 2016 at Prestige Manor Nursing Home in Belleview, Florida. Kathryn was born October 2, 1924 in Vernon, TX, to Otto and Addie (Berry) Tiroff. She was employed as a Secretary for the Wyoming Employment Security Commission for more than 24 years before retiring in 1986. Kathryn was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 20 years, sponsored a child through Unbound.org, and received her honorary pin for donating 20 gallons of blood.
In addition to her parents, Kathryn was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Glynn Rich, her son, Danny Rich, her brothers James (Brud) Tiroff, Earnest (Genie) Tiroff, and William (Bip) Tiroff.
She is survived by her Sons, Guy Rich, Thomas Rich, Paul Rich, James Rich, and Sam Rich; Daughters, Joy (Kathy) Everlasting, Susan Alloway, and Nancy Rich-Jacobson; her sister, Mildred (Murdie), Vaugh, and brother, Kenneth Tiroff; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, January 6, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 400 Country Club Road, Casper, Wyoming, with interment to follow at Oregon Trail State Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming.
