Kathern Ann Snook, 86, passed away Tuesday January 6, 2009 at the Life Care Center, Casper. She was born August 4, 1922 in Princeton, MO to Charles and Alma Minshall. During WWII Kathern worked as a welder in the Oregon Ship Yards. After the war she married Robert I Snook of Lingle, WY. Robert and Kathern moved to Casper around 1958 where they raised 3 children. Kathern was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She enjoyed being a homemaker and gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son John of Casper; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Henke of Santee, CA and JoAnna Anderson of Oregon City, OR; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, daughter Roberta Louise and 8 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday January 10, 2009 at 10 AM in Calvary Baptist Church. A private burial will be in Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
Contributions may be made to the Children's Bible Camp fund in care of Calvary Baptist Church, 1800 S Conwell, Casper or to the Gideon's.
