June Carol Goad, age 69, of Casper, passed away July 29, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice. June was born August 31, 1946 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Earl and Edna (Gilbert) Lawrence. She lived in Keystone and Rockerville, South Dakota. In 1959, her family moved to Buffalo, Wyoming. She completed her schooling and received her GED in 1986. She met the love of her life, Vernon Arnold Goad, in 1964 and then soon after got married and moved to Commerce City, Colorado. June was a homemaker most of her life until she became employed with the school district in 1982 for many years before retiring. She relocated to Casper in 1999 where she resided until her passing. Her greatest achievement while being employed was making the best school lunches for the children. Her favorite hobbies were gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant twin siblings and brother, Earl Lawrence; and her loving of husband, Vern, of 32 years. She is survived by sons, John P. Larralde, Guy (Beth) Goad, Joshua Goad, her daughter, Terri (Jerod) L. Golden; Sisters, Mary Wilson and Patty Phillips; brother, Tom (Teresa) Lawrence, 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
