June Lily Goodwin Evans was born to Bernard and Lillian Goodwin in Dilhourne England on August 27, 1927. She lived in Cheadle England until 1945 when she met her love, Jack Evans-an American Soldier, at a USO dance when she was serving in Home Guard in Cheadle during WWII.
