Julie Lymae Ledger

July 7, 1963 — April 12, 2017

Julie Lymae Ledger left this world on April 12th, 2017. She was 53 years young. A Casper native, born on July 7th 1963, Julie leaves behind a legacy of love and courage.

She graduated from NCHS and shortly thereafter married her high school sweetheart, Ted Summers. They had a daughter together, Jamie Corrigan (Summers) in 1986. They later divorced, however they remained good friends. Julie was working as a bank teller when she met and married Robert Ledger Jr., and inherited Rob's two children, Stacy Ledger and Jason Ledger. She then had her first son, Bradley Ledger in 1990. Julie started working as a traffic control operator at a local radio station and later on, a local TV station; she enjoyed working both places and loved the wonderful people she met. In 1998 she had her second son, Aaron Ledger, the baby of the family who completed the "Fab-Five" of Stacy, Jamie, Jason, Bradley, and Aaron.

She enjoyed being a Mom and was a true natural at it! She often helped out kids who were in need of a place to stay, something to eat, or someone to talk to. She was an avid dart player and loved to play the slot machines in Riverton, Deadwood, and most recently the Beacon Club in Casper. Julie could walk by any slot machine, put $10 in and walk out with $1,500!

In 2012, she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer; she was given a small chance for survival. However, she went into remission within 8 short months. In 2013, her daughter, Jamie had a son, Fisher Corrigan. She became known as "Grammy" and cared for Fisher the first year of his life. He became the light of her life. She watched him grow from an infant to a walking/running, talking preschooler.

She leaves behind her Mother, Joyce Meier; Brother, Steve (Jacque) Moncur; Husband, Robert Ledger; Children, Jamie (Sean) Corrigan, Stacy Ledger, Jason Ledger Bradley Ledger, Aaron Ledger; Grandchildren, Fisher Corrigan, Dyllon Ledger, Tanner Ledger, Brooke Ledger, and Layn White; Nephew Logan Moncur; many adoring Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends.

Julie is the epitome of courage, strength, bravery, and motherhood. She will be forever missed by those who love her deeply. To honor her life, please remember to "Just Keep Swimming" when life gets tough.
