Juanita "2D" Johnson age, 71, of Glenrock, Wyoming, passed away July 25, 2013 at Central Wyoming Hospice. Funeral services will be held at the Highland Park Community Church on August 5, at 2 pm with Pastor Steve Gunderson officiating. Burial site services will follow the funeral at the Glenrock Cemetery in Glenrock, Wyoming.
2D was born on February 4, 1942 in Winner, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Schweigert. She grew up in Buffalo, SD and graduated from Buffalo High School. On April 9, 1963 she was united in marriage to Clifford Johnson. They had a daughter, Donene Taylor and a son, Justin Johnson. Cliff was an ironworker so the first years of marriage they moved from state to state. In 1968, they settled in Rapid City, SD for 10 years. In 1978, the family moved to Glenrock, Wyoming. 2D was employed at Glenrock Coal Company for 20 years, and retired in 1998. After her retirement she worked part time for Farm Bureau Insurance. 2D felt the move to Glenrock was a good move; she loved her life in Glenrock and felt she was given a Blessed Life.
Her soul mate was Cliff. The love of her life was her family. Her best friend was Harley. She was a member of the Glenrock American Auxiliary, Casper VFW Auxiliary and attended Highland Park Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Justin Johnson, DVM and her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff, her daughter, Donene Taylor, son-in-law, Stan Taylor and grandsons, Hunter and Roper Taylor.
