Juanita Ann Japp, age 82, of Bar Nunn, passed away April 14, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. Juanita was born April 12, 1935 in Guymon, OK to Charles and Vera (Cross) Reust. She was a graduate of Guymon High School in 1953 and then went to Business College in Wichita, KS. Juanita met John Japp at First Baptist Church in Casper in 1955. They were married June 16, 1956 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Juanita and John owned several Coin and antique businesses in the Casper area as well as operating as John Japp and Associates Auctioneers for the past 37 years. She was the first secretary and treasurer of the Wyoming Auctioneers Association and held this role for over 17 years. She was a founding member of the Casper Antique and Collectors Club and she was awarded lifetime membership in both of those clubs. Juanita was also a lifetime member of the A.C.T.R.A. She was an avid collector of dolls and various antiques - too numerous to mention. Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, and grand-mother but she selflessly devoted hours of her time serving others.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was also preceded in death by her two sisters; Pauline and Dorothy. Left to cherish Juanita's memory is her loving husband, John E. Japp, Sr., son, John Japp, Jr., daughter, Jacquie (Chris) Brewer, daughter, Julie (Scot) Martin, brother, Earl (Maria) Reust, sister, Alice (Dean) Parker, sister, Ruby Harbour, brother, William Reust, grandchildren, J.R. (Timber) Japp, Aaron Brewer, Nicole (Brian) Halpain, Garrett (Heather) Martin, Stuart Martin, Malory (Jace) Foster, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 710 East Second Street, Casper, Wyoming. Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 10:00 am. at Boyd Avenue Baptist Church, 1930 Boyd Avenue. Burial will follow at Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor's choice in Juanita's memory.
