A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home for Joyce Ann "MeMe" Ramsey.
Joyce was born July 29, 1950 in New Brunswick, NJ to Michael and Mary Feher. She graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School in 1968 and went on to attend Technical School and received a diploma in Practical Nursing. This was the beginning of her career and passion for helping others.
In her early twenties she moved to Phoenix, AZ with her mom and dad and continued her nursing work. While in Phoenix, she met and married Robert Ramsey Sr. in June of 1979. They have been married for 34 years. Shortly after their wedding they moved to Tuolumne County in California and resided there for 13 years.
Joyce and Bob had two children, Talea and Robert Jr. They were her pride and joy. She spent years volunteering in their classrooms, making costumes and being an amazing mom. In 1993 they moved as a family to the Bitterroot Valley in western Montana and lived there for 16 years.
Recently Joyce and her husband moved to Casper, WY to be closer to their grandsons, Shane Don Doner and Reece Joseph Doner, the apple of Joyce's eye. "MeMe" was known for her amazing cooking, outdoor adventures, and endless creativity with the projects they did together.
Joyce was known for her generosity, warm and caring smile and complete appreciation for life. Joyce became quick friends with anyone she would meet, and everyone always had such positive things to say about her. Joyce was happiest when she was helping someone out or doing something for someone else to make his or her life easier.
She will be deeply missed by those who loved her and the world was a better place with her in it.
