CASPER -- At her request, no services are planned for Wyoming native Joy Lane Martin, 72, who died Oct. 12, 2007, at Wyoming Medical Center.
She was born April 22, 1935, in Wheatland, the daughter of Paul B. Adams and Virginia King.
She was raised and went to school in Wheatland.
She married Robert Clinton Martin on Aug. 23, 1952 in Kimball, Neb.
They moved to Casper in 1955 and had three children.
She took wonderful care of her home , it was her pride and joy.
She loved working in her garden, painting her home, mowing the lawn, she was a great homemaker.
She was a hip grandma. She acquired her first tattoo on her 65th birthday and received one every year after
that.
She had a great sense of humor joking and teasing everyone she met.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved music and scary movies. She was also a great animal lover.
She will be missed by all the people whose lives she touched.
Survivors include her husband, son, Steven W. Martin and wife of Casper; daughter, Robin K. Perry and husband, all of Casper; a brother,
Larry Adams and wife of Sheridan; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Baby Martin.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
