It is with the saddest of hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Tyler Walton.
To know "Walton" was to love him. Whether it was enjoying a slow moving morning with Captain Crunch and an Americano, paired with an episode of NCIS or an afternoon where he would "Put A Little Love In It" jamming out like he was the "Only Girl in the World" or "Sample in a Jar". His evenings were spent as a "Simple Man" and enjoying bowls of ice cream while finding the next days dad jokes. He was known to text his wife, "I'm not alone", even while she was beside him. Although this moment is unbelievable and impossible to comprehend, we encourage all his family and friends to celebrate when you remember his cocky smile, his dark humor or hear that random song that makes you wanna dance like a 70's movie director. Afterall, that is the husband, dad, family member and friend coming to say hello and check on you the way that only "Walton" would.
Josh is survived by his wife, Shannon; daughter, Ryleigh Syrene; son, Rush Michael; mother, Darrell-Ann Walton; brother, Scott Walton (wife Amy and children); aunt, Kyle Walton; In-laws, Robert and Charlene Harris; as well as extended family and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Walton; uncle, Jeff Walton; paternal grandparents, Bonnie and Ira Walton; and maternal grandparents, Alvin Darrell and Rubalee Johnson.
A celebration of life with be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified. Thank you for all the love and support that has been given during these difficult times.
Arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Casper Chapel.
