Joshua Lee Friesen

Joshua Lee Friesen, 35, of Casper, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Josh was born March 22, 1989 to Patrick Eugene Friesen and Jody Lynn Freitag in Casper. When Josh finished school, he went on to become a licensed journeyman electrician. Josh worked at Statewide Electric for many years. He loved them like family.

Josh always dreamed of building a sailboat and sailing the seas. Also moving to the Space Coast in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

When Josh walked into a room, everyone turned to admire his classy style. He had to be pristine before he left the house.

Josh was loved & admired by everyone that crossed his path. His smile was like a ray of sunshine, showing a glimpse of his true kind soul.

His passions in life were his dog, Miss Kona, his family & friends, driving fast, fishing, listening to music, playing games, hiking and working on projects such as vehicles & boats. He had several going on at the same time.

Josh's loving heart caused him to struggle with the many losses of several close friends throughout his life, ultimately causing him to close himself off from those who loved him. We hope Josh finds everlasting peace, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe.

Josh is loved and will be missed by his parents, Pat & Jody, his siblings, Deanna (Guy, Kayla, Karli, Kylynn & Kelsie), Holli (Steve, Lexis & Beau), Jim (Tish, Jordan, Hunter & Ethan), his grandparents, Jim & Audrey, numerous extended family & friends, and really, anyone that knew him.

Happy sailing and safe travels; until we meet again. Love you Josh. You will always be with us in our hearts and never alone.
