Jo Neville passed away on February 28, 2012 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was 67 years old; born in Casper, Wyoming to Theodore and Betty Hancock. Jo was raised in Casper her entire life, always active in school clubs, graduating from Natrona County High School in 1963. She married Frank Neville shortly after high school, working as a stay at home mother raising their three children, Denise, Trisha and Jason. While raising kids Jo was active in Service League and ever present with her kids' activities be it sports, dance or other school functions. She was always a perfectionist at whatever she set her mind to accomplish; whether working with stained glass, creating artistic dolls, gardening or interior design.
With her children grown she returned to school, graduating from Casper College with a nursing degree. After graduating and a brief move to Tucson following her divorce, she returned to Casper and devoted herself to her nursing career. She touched many lives, both co-workers and patients, working at Life Care Center, Wyoming Medical Center and finally at Poplar Living Center. During her career she worked at WMC on the Rehabilitation and Neuro floors as well as the Charge Nurse on the Transitional Care Unit. She ended her career as the Unit Manager and Medicare Coordinator at Poplar Living Center.
While her passion was nursing her greatest joy in life was her seven grandchildren: Miranda, Elaine, Yvette, Megan, Logan, Zoe and Sam. She will be missed for the mother, grandmother and friend that she was as well as all that she wanted to become.
Jo is survived by her two sisters, Georgia Goodman of Casper, identical twin Pat Kalus (Joe) of Buffalo, WY, her daughters Denise Bressler (Bryce) of Casper, Trisha O'Donnell (Matt) of Denver, Jason Neville (Ruthanne) of Casper as well as her seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, nephew Gordy Goodman and brother in law, Gordon Goodman. She was also preceded in death by her beloved puppies, Krissy, Amanda Jo, Sadie and Mattie Mae.
