On Friday, September 7, 2012, Joseph "Clark" Schilling went down "Fighitin" cancer, surrounded by his family at Central Wyoming Hospice. Clark was born August 8, 1937 in Casper, to Joe & Nettie Schilling. He graduated from Natrona County High School in 1956 and married Joan McNamara the same year. They celebrated 56 years of marriage in March of this year. He worked and then owned a Texaco service station at the corner of Yellowstone and Ash for 14 years. Clark worked in real estate for 42 years, beginning with McNamara Realty, Miracle Realty, and O'Quinn Realty. He then opened his own office as a broker of Schilling Real Estate. He was respected very much by his peers for his honesty and integrity and served on the board of Realtors, and was president of two homeowners associations for many years.
Clark was a Wyoming native of 75 years, enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting and fishing, riding four wheelers and camping with his family and friends every chance he could get.
Clark is survived by his wife, Joan, two sons, Joe (Susan) and Scott (Bernice), one daughter, Diana, four grand-children, Ryan (Ashley), Jamie (Joey), Whitney and Nicholas and one sister, Shirley Ford. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be 10 AM Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Edness-Kimball State Park. Please bring a lawn chair.
