Life History:
Joe attended St. Mary's Academy in Glens Falls New York.
He worked for the A&P Tea Company for 6 years and then for the Imperial Wall Paper & Color Company before enlisting in the in the United State Army on April 4, 1942 at Albany New York. He was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi in Kessler Field and then at the Casper Air Base, then transferred to Pueblo Colorado where the 491st Bomb Group was formed. He served in England with the 8th Army Air Corp and assigned to the war room and was given the Bronze Star for meritorious service. He was discharged on July 6th 1945.
Joe settled in Casper with his wife Bette Ann and their children, Darlene and Danny. He worked for the Texaco Refinery for 30 years and retired in 1978. He enjoyed all sports, fishing, baseball, bowling, and music. He was baptized a Jehovah's Witness in 1982.
