Joseph W. Biddlecome

On December 31, 2018 Joe Biddlecome passed away peacefully in his sleep at home.

Joe was born on June 17, 1950 in Price, Utah to Joseph William Biddlecome and Verna Grace Biddlecome-Price. Joe was raised along with his older sister Mary in Castledale, Utah.

On January 8, 1973 Joe married the love of his life Aldene "Dee" smith in Reno, Nevada. On August 16, 1974 Joe and Dee had their first child a son Robert Joesph Biddlecome. Then on August 12, 1977 they welcomed a daughter Patricia Joan Biddlecome to the family.

Joe started his long career in the heavy equipment mechanics field in 1971 and spend 26 years working at pathfinder mine in Shirley Basin, Wy and the next 21 years working for arch coal mainly at black thunder mine in Wright, Wy. In 2016 Joe retired from mining and enjoyed time at home with his wife.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren and working his part time job with Mesa West. Joe also enjoyed wildlife and nature photography. Joe was a very intelligent likable man with a strong work ethic. Joe made numerous friends in his career at mining. But anybody who knew him well and respected him also called him a friend. he will be greatly missed.

Joe was preceded in death by both of his parents, and also his sister.

Joe Is survived by his wife of 48 years Aldene Biddlecome. He is also survived by his son Robert Biddlecome of Casper, Wy; his daughter Patricia Gregory of Wright, wy. A grandson Nathan and two granddaughters Gracie and Jolene. A great-granddaughter Echo.
