Jolea Ann Snook

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of JoLea A. Snook, at the age of 74, who peacefully departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 2, 2024, a beloved wife, mother and friend, leaving behind cherished memories and an indelible mark on those who were fortunate enough to know her.

She was born in Casper, Wy on November 18, 1949, to Marguerite and Jo Miller, also of Casper. Jolea was a devoted wife to her husband John of 42 years, and a loving mother to her children Eileen and Lira(Annie to fiends and family).

For 30 years, Jolea served as a Title Clerk at Coliseum Motors, where she was known for her work ethic and being the go to person for any problems that needed to be solved. She loved interacting with people would have continued working had not carpel tunnel in her hands necessitated retirement.

Jolea was known for a generous heart and also as a fearless defender of her family against any perceived threats. She also enjoyed reading and having a good time playing Super Mario Brothers games with her family.

Affectionately known as Aunt Dode to her family, Jolea held a special place in the hearts of her nieces and nephews, who cherished her humor and unwavering love, and though no longer with us her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate Jolea's life will be held at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 2:00pm. JoLea was a supporter of the Casper Shrine Club, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to this organization in Jolea's memory.
