John Patrick Leach
July 6, 1951 — March 31, 2024
John Patrick Leach, 72, of Paris, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness in Casper, WY.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sellers Leach, and mother, Mary Sue Leach, both of Paris, TN.
He is survived by three brothers, James, Charles and Bob Leach; three children, John, Sarah and Christopher Leach; four granddaughters, Maylene, Evelyn, Zoey and Eliana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a proud Father, Papa and Uncle. As an accomplished US Navy Veteran, he graduated as Valedictorian of his class at the US Navy Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, IL, and served as a Hospital Corpsman during his military career. This naval training and experience lead him to a civilian career as a Medical Lab Technologist.
He raised his family in western North Carolina and cherished the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway, along the many other recreational areas located in the region.
Although he will be laid to rest in Paris, TN, he treasured the state of Wyoming for its beautiful landscapes, welcoming communities, and exceptional caregivers. Burial to be at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Paris, TN.
