John A. Taylor

August 16, 1942 — October 16, 2013

John Arthur Taylor Jr died suddenly at his home Oct. 16th 2013. He was born Aug 16, 1942 in Arlington, MA, to John A Taylor Sr. and Ann Sawyer (Rumrey) Taylor. He grew up in Maine with his two brothers, Charles and David. While serving his country, in the Marine Corp., he met Susan May Smith. They later married and had 3 children. They divorced in 1981. He further served in the US Navy for 4 years and in both the Air National Guard and Army Reserves.

John loved his country, and strongly believed in it's Constitution. After retiring he continued to stand up for what he believed in and was always willing to help another person. His strength of character was complimented by his wonderful sense of humor. He was an extremely talented man and gave new meaning to the term "Handyman". He had also studied law, electronics and was a certified herbalist.

John was preceded in death by his parents, both brothers and a daughter-in-law Christina.

He is survived by 3 children, David John and his wife Terri, Charles Gregory, and Leah Paulann, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A memorial and celebration of his life will be held Nov. 2, 2013, at 2:00 pm, at First Christian Church, 520 CY Ave, Casper, WY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be sent to Central Wyoming Hospice.
