Jimmy "Jim" David Kilts, age 80, of Casper, passed away September 22, 2018 at Central Wyoming Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born August 3, 1938 in Udall, Kansas to Clarence and Ruth (Royse) Kilts. Jim enlisted in the United States Army in October of 1955 and was honorably discharged in October of 1959. Jim married Nadine on February 7th, 1961 in Wichita, Kansas. Jim enjoyed hunting, shooting, fishing, and playing cards with his friends and spending time with his dog, Chief. Shooting his beanie "Slingshot" was one of his greatest talents. He collected coins and rocks, and only the perfect round rocks for his beanie shooting. He loved being a rancher and feeding his cattle. He was very proud of his family.
In addition to his parents, Jim was also preceded in death his son, Terry Lynn Kilts, granddaughter, Codi Lynn Slape, sister, Roxie, and brother, Troy. He is survived by his Wife of 57 years, Nadine Kilts, daughter, Toni (Jerry) Rietveld, son, Russell (Sheila) Kilts, son, Dustin (Laurie) Kilts; 8 Grandchild, grandsons, Seth Slape, Sean Rietveld, and Cole Kilts, granddaughters, Megan Lund, Sierra Kilts, Marie Kilts, Kristen Kilts, and Chelsea Rogina, 2 Great-Grandchild, Jaxton Slape and Parker Rogina, 2 brothers, Billy (Phyllis) Kilts and Danny (Sharon) Kilts, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Midwest Community Church.
