Jerry Lynn Maddux III, age 34, of Casper, passed away June 16, 2017 at Wyoming Medical Center. Jerry was born February 3, 1983 in Casper to Jerry and Tana (Dockham) Maddux. Jerry graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2001. Immediately after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army. He proudly served two tours in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was employed at The Fort as a waiter. He was an avid motorcyclist. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his children and friends. He was one amazing cook. He was very compassionate and lived life to the fullest.
Jerry was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Lynn Maddux, cousin, Jesse Dean Dockham, and nephew Isaiah Samuel Maddux. He is survived by his son, Radley Atticus Maddux - Durand, daughter, Bentlee Ann Fitzpatrick - Maddux, mother, Tana J. Maddux, father, Jerry L. Maddux, Jr., brothers, Josh, Mat, and Ryan Maddux, maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Jean Dockham, paternal grandmother, Shelia Mottram, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, girlfriend, Preslee Palmer, and many friends.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel.
Military Honors and interment will follow at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming.
