Charlene Francis Green, 83, of Casper, passed away Sunday, December 4th 2011 at the Central Wyoming Hospice. She was born May 30th 1928 in St. Louis, MO. She was raised in St. Louis and attended Catholic School. When she was 14 her parents died. Her brother Charles died at the age of 21.
She met Jerry Green in Denver in 1951 and was married November 4th 1952 in Thermopolis, Wyoming. They settled in Wyoming and raised 6 children. Charlene attended church every Sunday and loved watching NCIS and the Cooking channel.
Jerry Dale Green, 79, of Casper, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at Wyoming Medical Center. He was born in Excelsior Springs, MO. He came to Wyoming when he was 10 years old and was raised in Worland. In 1949 when he was 17 he enlisted in the U.S. Air force. He was discharged in 1952 after serving in Korea. He married Charlene November 4th, 1952 in Thermopolis. Jerry worked in the Oilfields of Wyoming. He retired in 2006.
They both enjoyed camping and fishing in the Bighorns and taking the party barge to Alcova. Christmas was their favorite holiday. They both loved to spend time in Deadwood, South Dakota. They especially loved spending time with their children, grand children and great grandchildren.
They are survived by 6 children: Janice (Frank) Marrello, Theresa (Tony) Scheenen, Terri (Ted) Jeffress, Jerry "Butch" (Mary) Green, David (Davina) Green and Patrick Green. There are also 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
