Dale Franklin Campbell, 70, of Mills, passed away Sept. 9, 2009 at the Wyoming Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 6, 1939 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of George and Carrie Mitchell Campbell. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army Serving during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a laborer and was a master of many. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing and working on cars. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by three sons, Mark Campbell of Casper, William Giffrow (Hilda) of Mills and Gary Johnston of Texas, five daughters, Carrie Medlar (Matt) of Columbus, NE, Candee McDonald of Bemingee, MN, Sandee Osmuchson of Bemidji, MN, Nancy Wilkin of Battle Creek NE and Melinda Campbell of Lincoln, NE, his former wife, Connie Royle Campbell of Casper, WY. There are eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services with military honors will be Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, 2:00 PM at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery with Chaplain Garry L. Roggow officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home.
