Jeffrey Curtis Rohrer, beloved Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin, and Friend, unexpectedly passed from this life on April 11th, 2024 after an aneurysm that couldn't be treated quickly enough.
Jeff was born in Casper, Wyoming on December 27th, 1970. He graduated Kelly Walsh high school and attended Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming where he graduated with an Associate Degree in Printing in 1992.
Jeff and Lori welcomed their daughter, Alexis, in March of 1992. He didn't go a day in his life without mentioning the pride and joy she brought to him. He moved to Loveland, Colorado and found a love for the state which he called home for almost 30 years in Westminster, Northglenn, and his favorite of all, downtown Denver. Jeff had a brain for computers and began working for himself in 2003 writing practice exams for Citrix. He signed an exclusive contract with Citrix and was the only approved practice exam writer for many years.
Jeff was known for his epic conversations. When you talked, he fully listened to what you had to say and had a gift for always making you feel important and heard. Jeff was the best uncle, he'd catch pokémon with his niece and nephew and he always had time to talk about anything on their minds. He had a unique ability to put everything into perspective and see the brighter side.
Throughout his life he had a constant love for watching sports with people he loved. He played hockey, recreationally and his NHL team was the Colorado Avalanche, through the ups and the downs. He also spent many cherished moments watching college football with his Father. Jeff was the commissioner of a family fantasy football league for many years, a job which he took very seriously and he was the champion many times. This was one of his favorite past times with his family and friends. He loved talking to his brothers and could always catch up over a game. When they weren't watching games the conversations were of music, entertainment and philosophizing of life in general.
Jeff was a very loving person and he really adored spending time with all of his family. He often travelled back to Casper or flew to Florida to see his brother's families and his parents for any occasion over the years. In 2021, he moved to Casper to be closer to his Mother and Father. He and his Mother enjoyed many spiritual conversations together over the years and he spent many days a week in their home sharing meals and recalling fond memories. He was so grateful for the time he was able to spend with them and talked about the happiness this move had brought to him. His time with his granddaughter Rue was short, but he loved her and enjoyed FaceTiming as he watched her grow. Though his passing was unexpected, he had time to leave a lasting impression on the hearts of all those who knew him and he will be dearly missed, always.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexis Rohrer (Sanjay Venu); granddaughter, Rue Venu; mother and father, Patricia and Bob Rohrer; brothers, Dennis (Laice) Rohrer and Christopher (Jamie) Rohrer, nephews and nieces, Ryan; Kevin; Taylor; Avery; and Finn Rohrer.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Rohrer; and his grandparents.
