Jeanne Ridgeway

January 24, 1926 — June 19, 2017

Jeanne Alice Ridgeway passed away with dignity and grace Monday, June 19th at the Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. She was preceded in death by her husband George Ridgeway almost two years ago. Both George and Jeanne were longtime residents of Casper, Wyoming. They celebrated seventy two (72) years of marriage. They were very active in their church and the community. They were avid antique collectors and dealers, and longtime members of the Casper Antiques and Collectors Club.

Jeanne was born in Emmetsburg, Iowa to Lola and Christopher Clare in 1926. She just observed her 91th birthday in January. Jeanne was one of nine children, one brother and seven sisters. It was Jeanne's instructions that she be cremated and her ashes interred at Highland Cemetery next to her husband and deceased son Gordon Ridgeway. She is survived by her sons, Dennis Ridgeway of Casper, Wyoming and by George "Ernie" Ridgeway of Mount Vernon, Washington. George and Jeanne were very proud of their grandchildren Randy, Amy, Eric and Jenny. They were preceded in passing by grandchildren Baby John and Adam.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be welcomed by Central Wyoming Hospice or the Casper Humane Society.

There will be a graveside memorial in Casper at Highland Cemetery on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.
