CASPER -- Graveside services for Jeanette Marie Jordan, 77, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
She died Oct. 14, 2007, at Central Wyoming Hospice Home.
She was born July 12, 1930, in Sturgis, S.D., the daughter of Wesley M. Wood and Frances M. Temple.
She grew up on the family farms in the Vale, S.D., area , and attended Vale schools.
On Jan. 5, 1947, she married Lawrence Astor Jordan in Newell, S.D. They spent the first 12 years of their married life working on their farm in Newell, S.D., where they became the parents of Ilene Adrian, Linda Joy and Lawrence David.
They moved to Casper in 1968. She worked at the Wyoming Medical Center and retired from the Wyoming Youth Treatment Center.
Survivors include her three children, Ilene of Casper, Linda of Evansville, and Lawrence "Larry" and his wife of Evansville; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one brother, Willard Wood of South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 22, 2002, her parents, her grandparents, and sisters, Theresa Falzerono and Charlotte Backus.
She will be greatly missed, especially by her children.
