It is with profound sadness that the family of Janice "Jan" Joslyn, said goodbye to mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend at the age of 84 on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Jan was born on December 23, 1939 in Montevideo, Minnesota to Fred Garbe and Hazel (Sorlie) Garbe. Jan was the devoted wife to the late Joseph Isaac Joslyn, they were married 60 years.
Jan will be lovingly remembered by her son, James Pancake, daughter Melanie (Paul) Bradley, daughter Deanna Joslyn, and son Joseph (Hope) Joslyn Jr., Grandchildren Rachel (Doug) Doherty, Danny Joslyn, Chad (Lexi) Sandfort, Kirsti Gabrielson, Dennis (Denise) Joslyn, Austin Joslyn, Bryn Gabrielson, Deaton (Katie) Joslyn, and ten great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, her husband Joe Joslyn, three sisters Patsy, Dorothy, and Winnie.
Janice enjoyed spending time with her entire family. She loved being a homemaker. Her joy was playing the piano, quilting, and crafting. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years and sang in the choir. The family would like to express that "She really did not like camping, Joe." She would also get her tang all tongueled around her eye teeth so she couldn't see what she was saying.
A visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1240 South Missouri, Casper, Wyoming on Wednesday July 10, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. With a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 pm.
