James (Jimmie) M. Malson was born on March 23, 1933 in Midwest, WY to Archie and Ann (Brewington) Malson. Jimmie passed away September 27, 2015. He graduated from Midwest High School where he played basketball and football. He served in the armed forces drafted during the Korean War, sent to Germany for 18 months. He married Melva M. McNatt on June 24, 1955. They lived on Flying Diamond Ranch for 20 years where they raised 3 children. Jimmie was a 4-H Leader and taught all of his children to rope and ride. Jim and Melva moved to Edgerton, WY in 1977 where he owned and operated M-Bench Water Service. He retired and they moved to Casper, WY where Jimmie loved doing genealogy and taking care of great grandbabies. He loved the Big Horns Mountains where he spent many summers at their cabin with grandchildren, enjoying fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Melva; daughter, Debbie Malson; Debbie's Family - Jaimie (Lindsey) Robertson,and Maegan, Morgan, JC, Madison, Christina Hamilton,and Nathan, Chance, Trey, Randall(Angela) Malson, and Randi; Son, Roger (Laurie) Malson; Roger's Family - Sara (Conan) Millistein,and Brianne, Connor, Hunter, Amanda(Simon) Lees,and Madison, Jessica (Thomas)Nuti,and Paizley, Tristan, Tanya, and Heather; Son, Gary (Robbee) Malson; Gary's Family – Kylee (Josh) Thormahlen, and Coulter, Mayakla, Katie, Hyden, Hudson, Katrina Malson, Clayton (Danielle) Malson,and Dally, Paisley, Cody (Jack) Tatum, and Lettie. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arch, George, Jack, and Pete Holman; sisters, Maxine Patterson, Dorothy Ladeburg, Avis Wiloth, and Ima Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Oct 6, 2015, at 1:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel.
