James Harris
CASPER -- Funeral services for James Harris, 75, will be held Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with
Fr. Michael Carr officiating.
He died Dec. 18, 2006, at his home.
He was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Atchison, Kan., the son of James Henry and Mary Elizabeth (McEvoy) Harris.
He joined the United States Air Force in 1949 and served in Korea. He was honorably discharged in 1953.
He attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan., and graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.
He married Mary Olson on June 22, 1952, in Beatrice, Neb.
He owned and operated Harris Clock and Watch for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife of Casper, four daughters, Terri Gutierrez of Las Cruces, N.M ., and Susi Miller, Annie Hauck and Jane Mickelson, all of Casper; two sons, Mike Harris of Pinedale and Dave Harris of Douglas; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandsons; a sister, Doreen Donovan of Atchison, Kan., and his stepmother, Lucille Harris, 97, of Atchison, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Paul Edward Harris.
