James Govan, 56, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Tuesday the 6th of February 2024 in Casper.
James was born in Closter, New Jersey to Richard Govan and Julie Owens.
James had a love for music and joking around. Some of the things he said were incredibly funny and sometimes inappropriate, but he could make the saddest person walk away from a conversation with a smile on their face.
James traveled the country paving highways and when he was in Casper he was a concrete finisher. James was known for being a free spirit and loved to play pool, basketball, and loved watching football.
He is survived by his son Tanner Hardman, son Ethan Wall, his mother and step father Julie and Dave Owens, sisters Elisabeth Shultz, Rebecca Roberts, Sibyl Govan and brother Josh Owens. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Govan and his brother Bill Govan.
A celebration of life will be held at the VFW on Bryan Stock Trail at 2:00 PM Saturday the 17th of February 2024. It's a Pot Luck so bring favorite dish.
