Memorial Services for Casper resident, James P. Gillum, 82, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 5, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church and will be celebrated by Fr. August Koeune and co-celebrated by Mssr. James O'Neil.
Rosary (Vigil) Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 4, at Newcomers Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
He died October 28, 2005, at Central Wyoming Hospice House in Casper, Wyoming.
Born September 19, 1923, in Rock Springs, WY, he was the son of Robert and Louise F. (Viox) Gillum. He was raised and educated in Rock Springs graduating from Rock Springs High School in 1941.
He joined the U.S. Navy in December 1942, serving at the Naval Air Station in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and on board the Essex Class Aircraft Carrier
