Ivan L. Ludeman

Thursday December 17, 2020 Ivan Leon Ludeman passed away at the age of 90 due to causes incident of age.

Ivan was born on January 17, 1930 in Miller, Nebraska to Joe Henry and Ida Irene (Cole) Ludeman.

He spent his childhood enjoying the company of his 8 siblings in Nebraska and Wyoming.

He married Marian Charlotte (Terrill) on May 20, 1956. They spent their early marriage living in Lynch, Wyoming.

While Marian finished her teaching degree in Chadron, Nebraska, Ivan worked in the oil fields of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After completion, the family returned to Casper where Ivan worked as a welder.

Ivan was a hard worker and always had a project in the works. Even after retirement, he enjoyed walking and delivering the Casper Star Tribune in his neighborhood. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting.

He was proud of his volunteer work constructing the bridge on the Sun Ranch at Martin's Cove.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, where he served faithfully as a home teacher.

Ivan is survived by his wife Marian, daughter Debra (Robert) Weston of Nome, Alaska and son Dale Ludeman of Boise, Idaho, his sister Joyce Lesher of Nebraska and brother Daniel of Colorado.

Grandchildren Mark Weston (Thea), Craig Weston, Ogden, Utah, Ashla (Simon) Powell, Anchorage, Alaska, Drew Weston, Salt Lake City, Utah and Annaliese Weston, West Jordan, Utah, Ken Ludeman, Boise, Idaho, Cameron (Clarissa) Ludeman, Fort Knox, Kentucky, Kerianne (Bryant) Chandler, Bellevue, Washington, Kyle Ludeman, Rexburg, Idaho, Christie (Thomas) Linsenmann, Rexburg, Idaho and Conner Ludeman, Boise, Idaho

Great grandchildren, Nicholas Weston, Arya, Quinn and Porter Powell, Maverick and Neil Ludeman.

In his later years, Ivan enjoyed his garden and working on projects outside, where he had a friendly wave to all who passed by.

Due to Covid 19, Graveside services will be held at Memorial Gardens airport on Monday December 28, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Bishop Jared Miller presiding.

A Memorial will be held in July 2021. More information will be provided at a later date.
