Ruth Sisemore passed away at the age of 88, May 10, 2012 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in the presence of her daughters and granddaughters.
Ruth was born June 21, 1923 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the first born child of Ivy Lee and Nan Coffey. She was employed as a bookkeeper with an impeccable record and retired from Associated Springs in Southern California after 19 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Earl Sr. in 1978, a precious baby son Thomas Earl Jr. in 1949, her second living son Terry Lynn in 1985 and by her beloved daughter Lorita in 2004.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Cover of Casper, WY, Thoma Sisemore of Lakewood, CA, her son in law Jerry Cover, 13 grandchildren, an ever growing number of great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was co-owner of several service stations including C&C Chevron Service in downtown Casper. As a member of the 200 Club, she was an accomplished bowler winning many city and state tournaments. She entertained HawkShaw Hawkins and Jean Shepherd at her home in Casper, which was also a hub of activity for her daughters.
A wonderful mother, grandmother, and aunt, she will be greatly missed by her family in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada and Wyoming.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home.
