Isla M. Rachou, 72, of Casper, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 peacefully at her home in Casper. At her request there will be no funeral services. She is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Rachou; parents, Arthur and Gertrude Middleton; and brother, Arthur Middleton, III. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly R. Kadlick; granddaughters, Shelby Michelle and Emily Trude Kadlick; and many wonderful family and friends that are spread throughout the nation. Isla was raised in Shreveport, LA and was a graduate of LSU. After a short time in Europe she found herself in Wyoming in the early 1970's to be a Mother's Helper. She met her husband, John and they started their family in 1974. After his passing in 1980, she found AA in 1982 and celebrated 32 years of sobriety. She loved her cats, traveling, and keeping up with her friends. Isla will always be remembered as being a great mother that will truly be missed. Being such a spiritual being, her prayers for her friends and family will be greatly missed. Memorials may be made in Isla's name to ASPCA or Joshua's Storehouse.
