Irma Claydon

Irma E Claydon, 91, passed away Thursday December 10, 2009 at Central Wyoming Hospice. Irma was born December 8, 1918 in Buffalo New York to Richard and Evelyn (Kirby) Wallenberg. She married Thomas Claydon in1940 and lived in Clarence, NY until moving to Casper in 1967. Irma work for Wyoming Medical Center for 10 years and after retirement she volunteered for 20 years as a Pink Lady. She was member of and very active in Richard Street Christian Church.
Irma is survived by a daughter Roberta (Jack) Cummings of Evansville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.; sister Joyce White of Altamont Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Monday December 14, 2009 from 4 to 7 pm with funeral service Tuesday December 15 at 2 pm all in Newcomer Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.
