Irene Martinez

Irene Zamora Martinez, 87, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at Wyoming Medical Center with her loving niece by her side. Irene was born on January 15, 1937 in Trinidad, Colorado and was the daughter of Ambrocio Zamora and Agnes Martinez. She was a homemaker the majority of her life taking care of her seven sons. Irene enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them. She enjoyed listening to music - especially gospel music. She was a member of Restoration Church.

Irene is survived by her sons Orlando Mora, Faustin Mora, Tano Mora, and Armando Mora, nieces, Candy Montez and Oriana Martinez, nephew, Jesus Martinez, granddaughters, Irene Mora, Orlanda Gibson, and Daniella Mora, several great-grandchildren, and long-life loving partner, Tom Mora Sr.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Tom Mora Jr. Sonny Mora, and Mario Mora, brother, Luis Ramirez, sister, Rose Montez, and brother-in-law, Jesse Montez.

A visitation will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 710 East Second Street, Casper, Wyoming on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday July 19, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions with interment to follow at Highland Cemetery.
