CASPER -- Services for Hilda Manley Nickerson, age undisclosed, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with Highland Park Community Church staff officiating. Burial will be in Wyoming Memorial Gardens.

She died Dec. 23, 2007, at Wyoming Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born in Beaver City, Neb., the daughter of Samuel Manley and Lizzie (Robinson) Manley. She graduated from Beaver City High School/

She went to college at Kearney State Teacher's College in Kearney, Neb.

She married Kenneth W. Nickerson in Beaver City and in 1937, moved to Eden, where she taught school and raised her family until 1956. She then moved to Midwest.

She retired in 1989 and moved to Casper to be closer to family.

She was a member of Highland Park Community Church.

She enjoyed crafts and gardening and will be truly missed by family, friends and all whose lives she touched.

Survivors include two sons, J.L. Nick Nickerson, and wife of Casper and Ronald Nickerson of Douglas; a daughter, Judy Meyer, Woods Cross, Utah; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sisters and one brother.

Memorials may be made to Highland Park Community Church.

Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
