Hazel E. Williams, 96, of Rawlins WY, passed away November 26, 2011 at South Central Wyoming Healthcare.
She was born December 23, 1914 in Courtland, KS to Inez Belle Frazier Weir and Harry K. Weir.
She married William C. Williams in Concordia, KS in September of 1933.
An excellent seamstress, she was employed as a seamstress and dry cleaning presser for many years.
She loved sewing clothes and costumes for her grandchildren.
She lived in Casper for 40 years and enjoyed fishing and camping in Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 1971. She is survived by two sons, William J. (Bill) Williams and wife Kay, and Robert E. Williams of Rawlins. Grandchildren Kimberly Lovato and husband Charles of Monmouth OR, David Williams and wife Doreen of Boulder Creek CA, and John R Williams of Boulder Creek CA, 4 great grandchildren, Erika Walker of Portland OR, Phillip Walker of Monmouth OR, Jason Lopes, US Navy and Shasta Williams of Boulder Creek CA.
Interment will be a graveside service at Highland Cemetery in Casper on December 1, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Terry Wiley of Christ Lutheran Church of Rawlins officiating. Donations may be made directly to Christ Lutheran Church at P.O Box 397 Rawlins, WY 82301 in Hazel's honor.
