Hazel Amadio went to be with her Lord and Savior and into the arms of her loving husband of 69 years on November 25, 2013. She was a resident of Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home. She was 93 years old at the time of her death. She was so loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Hazel was born to William and Bertha Bochmann on September 5, 1920 in Tabernash Colorado. The family then moved to Casper, Wyoming. In 1939 she met and fell in love with Charles Amadio and they were married on October 25, 1940. She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker who prided herself in taking care of her family. She spent many years working in her home doing ironing for others. She later went to work at Casper College until her retirement in 1985. She loved going to church, making ceramics and drinking hot chocolate.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; Chuck & Barbara, Dennis and Nicolette, LouAnn and Bardo, Paul and Tracy, 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her three brothers; Billy, Ted and Bud Bochmann.
The funeral will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on Saturday, November 30th at 11:00 am Burial will be at Wyoming Memorial Gardens after the service.
