Hattie Adamson

October 17, 1914 — December 29, 2011

Hattie R. Adamson, 97, passed away on December 29, 2011 and is reunited with her husband Cecil. Hattie was born in West Salem, IL to Buena Vista (Miller) Slater and Joseph Slater. She had five brothers and five sisters.

Her and her husband moved to Casper in 1947. She was a homemaker that cared for her family and many children in the Casper area. They had four sons and two daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter (Dixie), four brothers, four sisters and one great great grandson.

She is survived by her four sons, one daughter, one sister and one brother. Carlin Eugene of Casper, Cecil Ray (Bucky) and wife Cheryl of Sun City, AZ, Terry Joe and wife Judy of Vine Grove, KY, John Edwin and wife Joan of Lakewood, WA and Gloria Jean and husband Dick of Casper. Sister Buena Vista and and Brother Dick. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was loved by many friends in the Casper area and was always a joy to the hearts of her family. She will be truly missed.

At her request there will be no services. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on January 3, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Casper, WY. There will be a non-officiating goodbye to Hattie at Memorial Gardens January 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Donations may be made to Meals on Wheels in Hatties name directly to 1760 E. 12th Street Casper, WY.
