Harold A. Weikum, 92, and Louise M. Weikum, 88, passed away September 22, 2012.
Born August 15, 1920 in Sidney, NE, Harold spent his early years farming and working construction across the country. He served in the Merchant Marines in World War II, with time in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. After the war, he married and started a family, supporting them by farming and driving truck, retiring from Consolidated Freightways. In his retirement, he loved to hunt and fish.
Born November 9, 1923 in Junction City, OR, Louise worked in an ammunition factory in California during World War II and worked in various stores as a clerk over the years, the last being the Westside Buttrey's until it closed its doors. In her retirement, she loved to motor home travel with Harold and pan for gold.
Harold and Louise are survived by their five children, Sharon Hendricks of Casper; Kenneth (Christine) Weikum of Jackson, MS, Merrill (Kelly) of Casper, Dwayne of Melbourne, FL and Rodney (Pamela) of Casper; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held for both at Memorial Gardens September 28, 2012 at 11am.
